Bayonet made by Steyr in Austria under contract for the portuguese military, Used from around 1885-1905 in conjunction with the Steyr Kropatschek rifle (See FTA 149) also exported to Portugal from Austria. Design is reminiscent of Britsh 1856 pattern sword bayonet.
