The standard side-arm of the US Army from 1911 to 1985 and still in use all over the world. A hard hitting, robust and safe pistol. It is an excellent weapon in the hands of those trained to use it. This example is the 1926 A1 version with extended grip safety. Ithaca was one of the Wartime contract manufacturers suggesting a WW2 date for this example.
