A combination of Colt and Browning designs the Radom was adopted to be the standard service pistol for the Polish Army. A better than average service pistol that could cope with all manner of hard use. The Germans used the Radom and continued its production until 1944 when the advancing Red Army destroyed the factory. "P35" is designation after the factory was taken over by the Germans in 1940
