A slight improvement of the VZ 26 (See FTA 292) differed in the way it was manufactured. By 1939 the VZ 26 and VZ 30 were among the most numerous LMG types in the world. This example with Cyrillic markings and labeled "M.37" is the export version for Yugoslavia, although many were requisitioned in 1939 and used by Czech forces before they could be sent abroad.
