A joint design of John Browning (after he left Colt) and the Belgian Fabrique Nationale D’Armes De Guerre (FN). The Modele 1900 was the first of many excellent weapons produced by this association. Although never officially adopted by any army the Modele 1900 sold in thousands - usually to Officers who had to supply their own sidearms. It was used up to and during the Second World War by SOE and resistance workers.
