Biography:
1. Charles Fenton was employed as a casual Labourer earning 2/4d per day in the Engineers' Department according to WO54/516 dated the 19th February 1816, and appointed by the Board on the 10th November 1815. In 1816, he was a 45-year-old married man with 3 children, living in Enfield.
