Biography:

1. James Mash was a Labourer by trade set to work by Daniel Cornish in October 1787 at 9/- per week, possibly renovating the Mills following their purchase from Mr Walton by the Government . However, he does not appear to have been retained (Winters' Centenary Memorial, p.29).
