Biography:

1. Benjamin Halls (also Hall) was a Millman earning 3/-d per day, in addition to which, he was allowed 6d per night when on duty (Supply 5/229 dated the 29th August 1812). 2. Supply 5/230 stated that his name had then been entered in the records as Hall, and that he was still a Millman on the 13th February 1814, with the same pay and conditions.
