Biography:
1. William Greenfield was employed as a Cylinder Man earning 2/-d per day according to Supply 5/227 dated the 23rd August 1808.
2. This was also the case in September 1810 (Supply 5/228 dated the 1st September 1810).
3. Supply 5/229 dated the 29th August 1812 confirmed he was still in the same position at the same rate of pay as before.
4. Supply 5/230 dated the 13th February 1814, indicated that although still a Cylinder Man, at that date, William's pay had been increased to 2/8d per day.
