Biography:
1. Joseph Davy, a single man, aged 27, had been employed as a Labourer on a temporary basis for 4 months from June 1825, at 2/2d per day. However, according to the List of Persons Employed by the Engineers' Department (WO54/550 dated the 1st October 1825) he was to be discharged at the end of October 1825.
