Biography:
1. William Cuttle, according to the List of Employees dated the 29th August 1812 (Supply 5/229) was employed as a Saltpetre Refiner who earned 2/8d per day, and in addition, when not working extra, he was allowed to watch in turn.
2. Cuttle was employed as a Millman on the the 13th February 1814 earning 3/-d per day, with an additional 6d per night when on duty (Supply 5/230).
