Biography:

1. William Boswell (2) was possibly the same person as William Boswell (1). List of Persons Employed by the Engineers' Department (WO54/550 dated the 1st October 1825) recorded that William Boswell, a married man of 60 with 6 children, had been employed as a Labourer for 4 months since June 1825 on a temporary basis, and was to be discharged at the end of the month. He was paid 2/2d per day.
